RIDEP's main program, The Furniture Bank, is a valuable non-profit provider to those most in need – people who are moving from shelters to their first homes, families whose homes have burned, battered women rebuilding their lives, anyone at risk moving into a space of their own.

WHY RENT FURNITURE WHEN YOU CAN OWN?
For a nominal fee, you can own new or gently used furniture.  How?  Become a client of the Rhode Island Donation Exchange Program.  To qualify you must meet one or more of our guidelines.

ARE YOU:

• Low-income?

• Receiving no income?

• A Rhode Island resident?

• A foster parent?

• A victim of domestic violence?

• Relocating from a shelter?

• A fire victim?

• An immigrant?

• Receiving PIP, SSI/SSDI/TDI, food stamps, unemployment or Social Security?
